The Wheelhouse Baseball School is excited to be partnering with HCYA and their home school Christian education organization.  The Wheelhouse will coach their high school team in hopes of building a long term foundation for kids to learn the fundamentals of baseball while instilling Christian values and beliefs that will equip them to be successful in their future lives.  If you are interested in learning more about HCYA go to www.hcyabaseball.com  or contact Dennis Brown at (832)-868-8797.

Not just a baseball/sports facility- We strive to develop the person PDF Print

The best coaches I had were good at their sport but even better at communicating and speaking to me NOT at me.   They understood where I was in my life and offered advice and support and LISTENED instead of DICTATED to me.  They challenged me and pushed me out of my comfort zone knowing that I might fail but also knowing that the effort and ability to try would take me farther in life than sitting on the sideline wondering "What if?"

We have taken this same philosophy on at the Wheelhouse and we strive to make each child realize that they were created to do great things.  Whether it be sports related or not it is our purpose to build up the child's confidence, instill discipline and a strong work ethic that they will take with them for the rest of their lives.   God chose each of us for a greater purpose, HIS purpose.   How cool is that?

While our love for baseball and God drove us together, we believe that our love for sports will open many more doors for us.   Thus we have added the name Wheelhouse Sports to our organization.  Our vision is to expand our training offerings to other sports besides baseball, softball and fitness training.

Our purpose as the owners and staff members is to be positive male role models/coaches to each and everyone we work and associate with.   We want to be able to look back on our lives and believe we made a difference in the life of several children and perhaps several families.
